I discovered India in 1988 working with journalist James Heer who interviewed the Dalai Lama of Tibet for his CBC radio Documentary entitled “The Seven Deadly Sins”. Dharamshala, home to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government-in-exile, is a mountain village located near the edge of the Himalayas in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.
