Gestell

I did the Photography and Poster Design for this contemporary dance performance, Gestell, conceived and presented in 2006 by Christina Campisi and Louis Turcotte; choreographers / dancers.

Gestell is a word employed by twentieth-century philosopher Martin Heidegger to talk about what lies behind or beneath modern technology; a performative “gathering together” or “enframing” that allows us to reveal or present our primordial physis or nature.
