Doing “graphics” for films – creating props and set dressing – can be a lot of fun. Sometimes like with a newspaper article or headline that reveals a telling bit of plot info, the work is seen in close up. However, one also has to humbly accept that most of the time this work is just a background detail within the larger illusion of making a fake world look real.
I often use my own photographs to create fictional magazine covers.
